DC machine DMA+

A EPD for a electrical motor. The EPD is not certified but the data and calculations are in accordance with Product Specific Requirements (PSR) for Rotating Electrical Machines dated April 2000.

DMA+ type DC machines are used for variable-speed and variable-load applications, such as cranes, ski-lifts, test-rigs and in the process industry for mills, coilers, extruders and mixers. This EPD applies to the DMA+ 280 model, a 440 kW product.

The functional unit for the LCA is 1 kW of rated output power.  Calculations are based on an estimated lifetime of 25 years when operating 6,500 hours per year.
